If you are looking for a catch-all Productivity application, you now have another choice.

Springpad
is a free web application that allows you to easily save and find notes, reminders, recipes, tasks, event details, and more – the list is endless. Evernote has been my long standing favorite application for this purpose for years, but it has not really had any competition.  As a new Springpad user, I’m pretty impressed with the functionality it provides.

Springpad

Springpad Features:

  • Save information on the web, your phone (mobile site or iPhone), or by email
  • Easily organize your notes
  • Keep your data private, or allow it to be public
  • View public information by other Springpad members
  • Invite or Follow friends and family
  • Ability to access your account while mobile

Here is a quick two minute screencast that will show you the benefits of Springpad.

If you are reading this post in email or an RSS reader, you will need to visit Free Alternative to Evernote: Springpad! to see the screencast.

Springpad is completely free, and provides a  free iPhone application to allow you to access your account on the go. Give it a try today and let me know what you think!

If you ever complete any paid surveys, you know Pinecone Research is the gold at the end of the rainbow in the land of paid survey opportunities. They have the best reputation, pay the highest amount ($3 per survey), and are not always accepting new applicants!

I found a working link! I almost got up and danced, but then I decided to apply before the link decided to vanish before my eyes. I’ve been trying to find an “in” with Pinecone for over a month. So as soon as I hit that “submit” button I began this post so hopefully you can get in with Pinecone too!

Survey

Here are some links that work as of today:

Pinecone Research – USA
Open, as of 3/4/10

Pinecone Research – UK
Open, as of 3/4/10

If you are interested in signing up with Pinecone, do so NOW. These links vanish like nothing I’ve ever seen. Good luck!

As time goes on and I find that these links no longer work, I will do my best to update this post if I can find the magical working links.

UPDATE (3/5/10): The direct links I originally posted last night no longer go to the application, instead they just redirect to the main site. It appears as though now only referral links from other people will work, as I think people get a certain number of invitations to provide.

The above links are currently from MySurvey123.com, and they do appear to work. If you sign up from these links you will be signing up as their referral.

SeoFlexMedia has published a coupon code for £50 in Free Facebook Advertising. I’ve tried many codes over the last few weeks and nothing has worked – this one did! It automatically converted to US Dollars, adding $78.72 in advertising funds to my account!

If you have never used Facebook for advertising, you will need to create an ad before you can enter this coupon. Simply go to www.facebook.com/ads, create an ad, then you will be able to add funds and enter this coupon code: 8HPY-3RYX-1T70-80YW. If you have already been using Facebook ads, you will be able to credit your account by adding the coupon in the billing section.

It is amazingly easy to use Facebook advertising and I highly recommend it if you are a small business owner, freelancer, blogger, author, or really anyone trying to get traffic to your site. You can direct traffic to a website, Facebook fan page, or Facebook group. It takes about 5-10 minutes to create an ad, during which you will select the destination landing page, title, body text, and demographics for your targeted ad. Once you create the ad it will need to be approved by Facebook, but this process can occur very quickly and your ad may be up and running by the next day (depending on what you selected).

Facebook Ad Coupon

This coupon is good until 6/1/2010. Thank you SeoFlexMedia for sharing this coupon code!
