Amazon is offering this wonderful promotion, and it is an extremely good deal! Microsoft Office programs are an absolute fortune, and deals on Microsoft products are few and far between. I know many people who are still running older products of Office, so this may be just the deal you have been waiting for!
The promotion details are as follows:
- Buy a qualifying Office 2007 product between March 5 and September 30, 2010
- Install and activate your Office 2007 product by September 30, 2010. This step qualifies you to upgrade to the corresponding Office 2010 product (for FREE).
- Once the corresponding Office 2010 is available, simply go to www.office.com/techg by October 31, 2010 to download it at no additional cost, or purchase a DVD for a fee. Follow the online steps to verify eligibility. You will need an activated Office 2007 Product Key.
- Download the product and receive an Office 2010 Product Key online. There is an option to purchase a DVD for a fee (I am completely guessing, but I would expect this fee to be about $19, based on other similar programs I have seen in the past – this covers the cost of the DVD plus shipping).

I wasn’t going to upgrade but I feel now that I must and I don’t want to change. At least I know about this because I do still have Office 2007 lying around somewhere. Thanks!
whhaaatttt!!??? microsoft is going to release another version of the microsoft office again? i still have the 2002 version on my PC and it works just fine for me as of the moment. but i might consider the latest version, depending on the reviews.
